Former President Barack Obama releasing new book
On Nov 17th, former President Obama is set to release his fourth book, A Promised Land, which details his years as America’s first Black President. According to the book’s website, “Obama takes readers on a compelling journey from his earliest political aspirations to the pivotal Iowa caucus victory that demonstrated the power of grassroots activism to the watershed night of November 4, 2008, when he was elected 44th president of the United States, becoming the first African American to hold the nation’s highest office“.
A Promised Land is part of a two-volume series and comes just two weeks after America voted Obama’s former VP Joe Biden the 46th President of the United State. While President Trump has yet to concede, Former President Obama, the mainstream media, and many world leaders have acknowledged Biden’s victory.
