
Dapper Dan Gets the COVID-19 Vaccine
Designer and Fashion Icon Daniel “Dapper Dan” Day has received the Covid-19 vaccine. In a new interview for Vogue, Dapper Dan documents receiving the vaccine and sits down for a zoom conversation with Mary T. Bassett– the Director of the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dan and Bassett discuss the impact Corona Virus has had on the Black and Brown community and the communities reluctancy to receive the vaccine. The Harlemite described the vaccine as a “protection” against Covid-19 and was inspired to dance “salsa” soon after. Dan also promised to continue wearing his mask, which is recommended by the CDC in order to defeat the virus.
