Public Advocate Jumaane Williams Announces Run For Governor
Two weeks after winning his re-election bid for Public Advocate, Jumanee Williams is running for Governor of New York. Why? Who the hell knows!
Williams will be up against fellow Brooklyn-nite and current Attorney General, Tish James. The two share almost the same base, which will ultimately divide potential voters.
In my opinion, it makes no sense to campaign for Governor when the likely hood of winning is less than slim and Williams would be raising money from New Yorkers who would likely have to decide between James and Williams. Williams run will not benefit anyone but current Governor, Kathy Hochul.
This is a poor move on Jumanee Williams part. And it’s exposing his character in a not so favorable light.
