Dave Chappelle attacked at Hollywood Bowl

In a manner reminiscent of the Oscars, Dave Chappelle was attacked while performing at the Hollywood Bowl. The attacker rushed the stage and tackled Chappelle to the ground. According to reports, the two men tussled on the ground until Dave’s security intervened. The man ran backstage with Dave Chappelle saying, “I’m gonna kill that n*gger“. The attacker was allegedly beaten badly by security and left the Hollywood Bowl on a stretcher. Chappelle was not injured in the attack. LAPD retrieved a knife from the attacker after the incident.

Ironically, fellow comedian Chris Rock, was in attendance and quipped, “was that Will Smith?”
