NBA Hall of Famer Magic Johnson is the subject of a 4-part documentary event streaming exclusively on AppleTV+ on April 22nd. They Call Me Magic focuses on his illustrious basketball career, business ventures, family life, and the HIV-Aids diagnosis that almost derailed his life and career. Moreover, features Michael Jordan, Barack Obama and Lakers Legends Shaquille O’Neal.
During his 13 year career, Johnson won 5 Championships, 3 League MVPs, 3 Finals MVP awards and was a member of the legendary USA Dream Team. And upon retiring, he set the tone for entering the business world and became a successful entrepreneur and role model for the Black community by building movies theaters and businesses in the Black community.
This documentary will keep his Magic’s name alive among the greats as the Last Dance did for Michael Jordan.
